Bobby, a lonely man in his 60’s, is devastated after finding out his “bratty” neighbour Angelica is moving houses. Not only will Bobby lose his “cash on hand” as Angelica's maintenance man, but he'll also lose his Cavoodle buddy, Logan, who’s keeping him afloat in his miserable life. Bobby desperately tries everything to keep the puppy but ends up complicating things even more.

Inspired by a Filipino folktale, this 8-minute short film tells the story of a pregnant Filipino wife, Luisa, who finds herself in a dilemma due to her husband Jake’s indifference towards her pregnancy. As Luisa gathers up her courage to face her husband, a sinister creature lurks around. What follows next is unknown.

Filmed in the middle of 2020 lockdown, this documentary explores the journey of a hopeful Filipino family who left everything for a "better future".

 

After enduring 13 years of being separated from each other, Rowena and her children finally reunite with her husband Anthony after securing an opportunity to live and work in Australia. The family sheds light on the emotional rollercoaster of leaving the country they were born and the things they had to give up. All for the dream of a better future.
